sketching in Pergamon museum

2009-03-19_thumb Ishtar Gate, Babylon: Mushhushshu dragon (head and body of snake, legs of lion and bird and the tail with scorpion’s sting); lion with wings and bull. All of them are surrounded by sweet patterns of chamomiles.

I tried new sketchbook for this detail from Pergamon altar. I was looking for soft paper for pencil… well, I am still looking for it.
