I don’t usually read guide books and the fact that Japantown is just a trade center with tiny shops I figured out only on the site. Not so exciting to sketch.

But I found a nice bookstore there – Kinokuniya – with a good choice of books on English and Japanese. And one of their calenders the one with my illustrations. Ta-da!

A publishing house that made the cat calenders gave us a box with the rests… Now those who take a pet at the Berkley humane society will get this year calender as well.
